Needlestackjobs.com Website Policies
1. Overview
 

These Website Policies are intended to govern Postings to www.needlestackjobs.com (“the Website”).  Needlestack Jobs is the sole interpreter of these Website Policies.  Subscribers who violate these Website Policies may have their accounts terminated or suspended, at Needlestack Jobs’ sole discretion.   

2. Prohibited Postings and Conduct
  2.1  Document Contents 

Any document or other communication a Subscriber posts to the Website may not contain: (a) copyrighted material that the Subscriber does not own or have the owner’s permission to post the copyrighted material; (b) trade secrets that the Subscriber does not own or have the owner’s permission to publish the trade secrets; (c) any material that infringes on or misappropriates any other intellectual property or privacy rights of others; (d) URLs or links to websites other than websites maintained by Subscriber; (e) keywords or any words embedded in the Document or other communication; or (f) anything that is discriminatory, sexually explicit, obscene, libelous, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, or embarrassing or offensive to another person or entity.

  2.2 Document Uses

Any Subscriber may not use documents or other communications they post to: (a) impersonate another person, living or dead; (b) post false, inaccurate or misleading information; (c) post advertisements; (d) solicit business; (e) post chain letters or pyramid schemes; or (f) post notices or opinions, commercial or otherwise.

  2.3 Conduct

Any Subscriber may not: (a) respond to postings by other Subscribers in any manner or for any purpose other than that which is expected, for example, to apply for a job or to engage in discussion with a job candidate; (b) send unsolicited commercial email to Subscribers; (c) delete or revise any Document or other communication posted by any other person or entity; or (d) solicit in any Website posting the employer’s business on behalf of or by Needlestack Jobs’ competitors.

3. Required Information

Any document or other communication posted to the Website by a Subscriber must contain sufficient detail to communicate clearly to Subscribers the nature and requirements of the job opportunity or a candidate’s qualifications.  Documents or other communications that require the Subscriber to “email for more details” are prohibited.  Documents or other communications charging a fee or restricting complete access to all resume information are also prohibited.   Job postings must be openings for W-2 or 1099 employees.  Resume postings must be made on the Subscriber’s own behalf and must contain accurate information regarding a living individual seeking employment on a full-time, part-time, or contractual basis.

4. Subscriber Responsibilities

All Subscribers are responsible for ensuring and maintaining the confidentiality of their information and password.  Subscribers are responsible for all uses of their registration, whether or not the use was authorized by the respective Subscriber.   If third parties use a Subscriber’s password and account to post prohibited documents or other communications to the Website, that Subscriber may lose access to the Website, at Needlestack Jobs’ sole discretion.  All Subscribers agree to notify Needlestack Jobs immediately of any unauthorized use of their Accounts, and to report any prohibited postings or conduct. 

If at any time Needlestack Jobs learns or comes to the understanding that a Subscriber misled Needlestack Jobs concerning the Subscriber’s business, business opportunities, practices, and/or services, Needlestack Jobs reserves the right to terminate the Subscriber Agreement and terminate the Account. 
 
5. Monitoring
  5.1 Documents and Other Communications

Needlestack jobs has no obligation to monitor the documents or other communications posted on the Website, but it may randomly monitor the postings.  Documents or other communications that violate these Website Policies will be removed at Needlestack Jobs’ sole discretion.

  5.2 Conduct

Needlestack Jobs has no obligation to monitor the conduct of its Subscribers.  However, Needlestack Jobs may investigate violations and respond when violations of these Website Policies are reported or otherwise brought to Needlestack Jobs’ attention.

6. Security
  6.1 Prohibited Practices

Subscribers are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the Website, including, but not limited to: (a) accessing data not intended for such Subscriber or improperly accessing Accounts or servers; (b) attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of Needlestack Jobs’ system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization; (c) attempting to interfere with service to any Subscriber, host or network; (d) submitting, posting, or uploading a virus to the Website, or overloading, “flooding”, “mailbombing” or “crashing” the Website; (e) forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or newsgroup posting.

  6.2 Violations

Violation of the above mentioned prohibited practices may result in civil or criminal liability.  Needlestack Jobs will investigate occurrences which may involve such violations and may involve and cooperate with law enforcement authorities in order to prosecute Subscribers involved in such violations.

7. Changes to These Policies

Needlestack Jobs reserves the right to revise this policy at any time.  If we materially change the Website Policies (whether a deletion or addition), we will note deletions with a strike-out and additions in italics type for a thirty (30) day period after the change.  For this same period, we will note [Revised] at the end of each revised sentence and update the effective date at the bottom of the Website Policies.
